# Video Generation Pricing

> Estimate video generation usage at 50 credits per minute.

Video generation consumes **50 credits per minute**. It uses an existing Avatar and audio to produce a downloadable video.

## Credit estimates

| Video duration | Credits |
| - | - |
| 1 minute | 50 |
| 10 minutes | 500 |
| 60 minutes | 3,000 |

For budgeting, multiply the duration in minutes by 50. These examples illustrate the per-minute rate, not minimum charges or rounding rules.

## Avatar creation is separate

Generating a video does not reserve an Avatar Creation. If you need a new custom Avatar first, its [creation allowance or add-on charge](/pricing/custom-avatar-creation) is separate from the credits used to generate the video.

## Access and limits

The Video API is in private beta and requires separate access from the Avatar API. A credit balance alone does not enable video generation. Request access through [Spatius Studio feedback](https://app.spatius.ai/feedback/create).
